Strength: Michael and Flame

My Dear Sister,
Today I write to you from London, and your strength and power flows from Michael, angel of Fire - slayer of dragons.

Today I feel strength returning after yet another seige.  A year of relentless pounding and stress - Financial, emotional, physical, psychological - I, like you, have been surrounded by hostile forces trying to bring me down.  But I am an old campaigner now, used to pacing my quarterdeck whilst the enemy guns are pounding - until I can bring my own broadside to bear.  And now - with God's help - we are ready to open fire and the time of waiting is nearly over.

Remember - they also serve who only stand and wait.

Be resolute - your siege is nearly over - and your relief approaches with retribution and fire to blow your pressures away.

My dearest Merliz,
